The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2027 returns to the majestic Edinburgh Castle Esplanade in August 2027 — running from 7 to 29 August 2027 as part of the city’s renowned festival season. Expect an unforgettable evening of military precision, cultural pageantry, and dramatic spectacle. The program will showcase massed pipes and drums, Highland dancers, international bands, and stirring visuals culminating in the iconic Lone Piper performance, all set against the historic castle backdrop under a canopy of fireworks and lighting effects
